- Color/Description
- Color can range from reddish/orange to a dark violet/brown, usually with contrasting darker black streaks. Narrow sapwood is a pale yellow.
- Workability
- Fair workability. Irregular grain can cause tear-out. Many of the same challenges in gluing rosewoods are common with Morado.
- Uses
- Veneers, musical instruments, cabinets, floors, interior trim, turnings, etc.
